Assisted Living and Power of Attorney.

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This post will have nothing to do with Marketing, so if you want to stop reading that is fine. It has been a while since I posted because I have been busy getting Power of Attorney for my mother. We will be moving her into an assisted living place. She has lived with us for four years and it has come to the point where she needs more attention than we can provide.

Being as we live in New Mexico we are catching a break on costs compared to other states. If anyone has an elderly parent who served in a war or is a widow of someone who served there may be some pension benefits that you have not heard of. I found out that there is a pension for my mother that she did not knw she was eligible. It is through the Veterans Administration and one has to apply for it. My mother is a widow of a WWII veteran so I will be applying for it right away. I understand that it can take up to six months to receive it, but it is retroactive to the time of applying.

I plan on getting back in the saddle this next week and catch up on things that I have let slide. Thanks for your understanding in my not posting for so long.

All The Best!
