Yes, you are correct and it is also nice to have reviews of your business included because they carry weight, too. That has helped my clients rank high in the 7 pack. As you said the more items you include the better the ranking.

The Google 7 pack in Local Search is the first and formost important result in local search for your blog or website. But how do you get in the 7 pack?

By appearing in as many directories as possible, all with rich content about your business, video, photos, bios etc. This actually pushes you to the top of the 7 pack.
